What this policy covers

This policy explains the cookies and browser storage used by Steve Robinson’s website. It should be read alongside the Privacy Policy.

Confirmed cookies

The audit found no first-party cookies set by the website and no analytics, advertising or social media tracking scripts. No embedded iframes, such as maps or videos, were found.

Google Fonts and Font Awesome files are loaded from external providers to display fonts and icons. These are technical resource requests. Their providers may apply their own caching or technical processing; their cookie and retention behaviour is not controlled by this website and needs to be checked against their own policies.

Privacy notice storage

The site displays an information notice on a first visit. If you select “Got it”, the site stores one localStorage value named sr_privacy_notice_dismissed_until. It records the date and time until which the notice should stay hidden.

This value is kept for 180 days from dismissal. It is not used for analytics, advertising, profiling or tracking. When it expires, the notice can be shown again. If browser storage is unavailable, the notice can still be dismissed for the current page view but the choice cannot be remembered for future visits.

How to manage storage

You can clear localStorage and cookies through your browser settings. Clearing the notice value will cause the information notice to appear again. You can also use a private-browsing session, although browser behaviour varies by browser.

Changes to this policy

If the website adds analytics, advertising technology, embedded content or other non-essential storage, this policy and the site’s notice controls will be reviewed before those technologies are used.
